At the food court at the Oaks Mall in Gainesville, Florida, most of the restaurants were idle and bereft of customers; except for the anti-LBGT outfit known as Chick-fil-A. I don't know if these patrons are patronizing the store because of that policy or because the food is good. But I have, as a matter of conscience, determined never to purchase anything at any Chick-fil-A. I have no use for home-grown Fascism.
Found this little beauty at a local park. But I do not know what kind of fleur it is. Perhaps one of my blogger friends can enlighten me.
Thanks to my good friend, Cieldequimper at Versailles Daily Photo, for correcting my French!
On one of the side streets in Mount Dora, Florida, there is a private home owned by the Finertys. The street contains a number of small businesses with funky little entrances and gates. In the midst of these businesses is the Finerty home which is fronted by this brick wall which has an entrance gate attached.
Evidently, some people have thought that gate was their portal to whatever was behind the wall. It got to be a problem. So, the Finerty family put up a sign. I hope it has helped.
